13271 RESOLUTION NO. 13271
WHEREAS, the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, entered
into a Lease Agreement with FLORIDA HOME & APARTMENT SHOW
MANAGED BY INDEPENDENT HOUSEWARES EXHIBIT, INC. , dated June
24, 1970, and
WHEREAS, the FLORIDA HOME & APARTMENT SHOW MANAGED
BY INDEPENDENT HOUSEWARES EXHIBIT, INC. has released the
dates of March 18-27, 1973, and instead will use the dates
of March 11-19, 1973 for the Florida Home and Apartment Show,
and
WHEREAS, all other terms and conditions of the
existing Agreement shall remain the same except the payment
dates, which read as follows :
$1, 000. 00 payable on October 11, 1972
$2, 000. 00 payable on February 11, 1973
$3, 000. 00 payable on March 11, 1973
Balance due payable on or before March
19, 1973,
and
WHEREAS, a letter signed by the Acting Manager of
the Auditorium and Convention Hall, dated March 8, 1971,
amending the existing Agreement between FLORIDA HOME &
APARTMENT SHOW MANAGED BY INDEPENDENT HOUSEWARES EXHIBIT,
INC . , and the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, has been mailed to and
accepted by INDEPENDENT HOUSEWARES EXHIBIT, INC.
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the letter
dated March 8, 1971, signed by the Acting Manager of the
Auditorium and Convention Hall, amending the existing
Agreement between FLORIDA HOME & APARTMENT SHOW MANAGED BY
INDEPENDENT HOUSEWARES EXHIBIT, INC. and the CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH be and the same is hereby accepted and approved in the
name of and on behalf of said City.
