A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA AMENDING
AGREEMENTS WITH SMOKES , INC. AND SOUTHERN
VENDING TO PROVIDE FOR A MANNED CONCESSION
STAND AT FLAMINGO PARK ON A TRIAL BASIS TO
SEPTEMBER, 1971.
WHEREAS, it has been proposed that manned concessions
will result in improved customer service and produce more revenue
for the city than vending machines; and
WHEREAS, the concessionaire has agreed to provide on a
trial basis a concession stand and personnel to man it at no
additional cost to the City; and
WHEREAS , controls of the cash registers to be used in
the concession would be set by the Internal Audit Division;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH:
That the agreements with Smokes, Inc. and Southern
Vending be amended to provide for a manned concession stand at
Flamingo Park on a trail basis to September 30 , 1971.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 2nd day of June, 1971.
