RESOLUTION NO. 13310
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida, pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 9837,
Special Acts, 1923, Laws of Florida, is considering adopting
a new Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance for the City of Miami
Beach, or in the alternative, amending the existing provisions
of Ordinance No. 289 for the purpose of regulating the use of
land and buildings, the height of buildings, the size of
open spaces surrounding buildings, density of population,
percentage of lot coverage, and off street parking, and
WHEREAS, copies of the said proposed new
Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance, together with the said existing
provisions of Ordinance No. 289, are on file and available
for public inspection in the office of the Planning and Zoning
Director in the City Hall of the City of Miami Beach;
NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that a public
hearing be and the same is hereby called for the 29th day
of July, 1971, beginning at 7 :30 o' clock P.M. in the Council
Chambers in the Cypress Room of the City of Miami Beach
Convention Hall, and all reasonable, proper and legal
continuances and adjournments thereof, for the purpose of
considering the adoption of the said new Comprehensive Zoning
Ordinance, or incorporating the same into the provisions of
Ordinance No. 289, together with such amendments to the said
proposed new Comprehensive Zoning ordinance, or to the existing
provisions of Ordinance No. 289, as the City Council may deem
necessary and desirable; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that a public
notice of said public hearing shall be published in the
Miami Beach Sun, a newspaper of general circulation, not less
than fifteen (15) days prior to the date of the said public
hearing, and all members of the public and all interested
parties be, and they are hereby notified to be present, at
which time they will be heard.
