RESOLUTION NO. 13324
BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA :
That the Boxing Commission of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, be advised and informed that it is the desire of said
City Council of the City of Miami Beach that all meetings of
said Boxing Commission shall be open to the Press and to the
public, and that the Boxing Commission adhere to, and follow
precisely,all the requirements, provisions and mandates of the
Sunshine Law; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that all meetings of the said Box-
ing Commission shall be held on public property of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida; and that no meetings of said Commission
shall be held in private offices ; and
BE IT FURTHER DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that public notice of all
meetings of the said Boxing Commission shall be given, and
that the cost of advertising such hearings of said Boxing Commis-
sion shall be paid from funds of the said Commission, and that
expenditures shall be held and deemed to be proper and appro-
priate expenditures ; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the City Attorney be advised
by the said Boxing Commission of the time and place of holding
its meetings for the purpose of enabling the City Attorney, or
his representative, to attend all such meetings ; and the City
Attorney is hereby authorized and directed to so attend; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that verbatim shorthand notes
of the proceedings of the said Boxing Commission shall be taken,
and shall be kept, and made available ,as public records ; and
that the Minutes of the said Commission shall be based upon
such verbatim shorthand notes taken of the proceedings ; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that copies of this Resolution be trans-
mitted to each and every member of the said Boxing Commission,
and its Executive Secretary, with the direction and instruction
that the above and foregoing requirements be adopted.
