13376 RESOLUTION NO. 13376
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Dade County Board of
Public Instruction be and it is hereby earnestly requested
to establish and maintain a continuous educational program,
including films, demonstrations and guided visitations to
appropriate institutions for the purpose of advising and
warning students of the dangerous and destructive potenti-
alities inherent in addiction to habit-forming drugs ; and
it is the sense of the City Council of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida, that embarkation upon such educational
program by the Dade County Board of Public Instruction is
imperative and urgent and it is respectfully urged to com-
mence the same with all due dispatch.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that copies of this
Resolution be transmitted to each member of the Dade County
Board of Public Instruction and its Superintendent of
Schools .
PASSED and ADOPTED this 15th day of September, 1971.
