RESOLUTION NO. 13386
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach, Florida, entered
into a Lease Agreement with Greater Miami Philharmonic
Society, Inc. , dated May 14, 1971, and
WHEREAS, Greater Miami Philharmonic Society, Inc.
has released the date of February 25, 1972, in the Miami Beach
Auditorium from its 1971-72 concert series, and
WHEREAS, all other terms and conditions of the
existing agreement shall remain the same except the payments,
which read as follows :
"$4, 550. 00 total minimum guarantee on
basis of $350. 00 for each of the 13
concerts above scheduled. Lessor has
the privilege of accepting the guarantee
or 12% of the gross receipts, after taxes,
from each performance, whichever sum is
the greater, "
and
WHEREAS, a letter signed by the Acting Manager of
the Auditorium and Convention Hall, dated August 16, 1971,
amending the existing Agreement between Greater Miami
Philharmonic Society, Inc. , and the City of Miami Beach has
been mailed to and accepted by Greater Miami Philharmonic
Society, Inc.
NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the letter
dated August 16, 1971, signed by the Acting Manager of the
Auditorium and Convention Hall, amending the existing
Agreement between Greater Miami Philharmonic Society, Inc . and
the City of Miami Beach be and the same is hereby accepted
and approved in the name of and on behalf of said City.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 15th day of September , 1971.
