Morales, City Manager DATE: June 26, 2017 SUBJECT: Temporary Closure of Code Compliance Office The purpose of this Letter to Commission is to advise the Mayor and Commission that the office of the Code Compliance Department (Code) will be closed to the public beginning Tuesday, June 2ih through Wednesday, June 281h as it relocates to its new, temporary location at 1661 Pennsylvania Avenue. As you may know, Code is currently housed at 555 1 ih Street, across the street from City Hall. The 555 building will undergo mold remediation requiring the temporary relocation of all personnel and operations for the duration of this process. This work is expected to take at least eight weeks. It is Code's intention to remain available and responsive to the public in the field, by phone and email however phones lines and network connections may experience intermittent down time during the actual move. Code will reopen its doors for business to the public on Thursday, June 29th at its new, temporary location. If you have any questions, please contact Hernan Cardeno, Code Compliance Director.
