RESOLUTION NO. 13412
WHEREAS, Rose Anderson, a valued employee in the
Social Service Department of the City of Miami Beach, has
rendered exceptional service to the community, far above
and beyond the course of duty in actively encouraging,
promoting and advancing the cause and interest of the needy
in the community, particularly in the "Send a Miami Beach
Child to Summer Camp" Program, and
WHEREAS, notwithstanding her full performance of
her duties in her employment in the City of Miami Beach,
with an exemplary devotion to the arduoLs details thereof,
nevertheless upon her own time and upon her own initiative,
and the total and complete sacrifice of her own self interest
and well being by dint of her arduous efforts in this regard,
she made the said summer program a total and complete success,
thereby making the lives of numerous disadvantaged children
enriched with indelible impressions which will make them
better citizens of the community, and
WHEREAS, it is only meet and proper that due and
proper acknowledgment and tribute be paid to the said Rose
Anderson for her self sacrificial and inspired efforts in
the premises;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the said
Rose Anderson be, and she is hereby commended for her
inspirational efforts in enriching the lives of the adolescent
children of the community by bringing them the privilege and
the unforgettable experiences which only youth can enjoy
during summer sojourns in an atmosphere of spontaneous joy,
pleasure and health, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the said Rose Anderson be
the recipient of a suitably enrolled and enregistered copy
of this Resolution.
