13429 RESOLUTION NO. 13429
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida has
heretofore designated holidays for the employees of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, as follows, to wit:
"Holiday Designated Date
New Year's Day January 1
Washington's Birthday 3rd Monday in February
Memorial Day Last Monday in May
Independence Day July 4
Labor Day 1st Monday in September
Veteran's Day 4th Monday in October
Thanksgiving Day 4th Thursday in November
The Friday immediately
following Thanksgiving Day
Christmas December 25
Dr. Martin L. King' s Birthday January 15
or Employee's Birthday (at
the employee's option)
Floating holiday (to be
designated by the City
Manager at the beginning
of each fiscal year)
and
WHEREAS, the City Council has found and determined that the following
revision would be made relative to the Floating Holiday, as follows, to wit:
Floating Holiday (a day to be
selected by each employee,
subject to his department head's
approval, during each fiscal year)
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that that portion of Resolution 13199 reading as follows:
"Holiday Designated Date
