RESOLUTION NO. 13433
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach, Florida, entered
into a Lease Agreement with National Exhibit, Inc. dated
June 25, 1970, and
WHEREAS, National Exhibits, Inc. has released
the date of October 27, 1971 for the Florida Franchise and
Business Opportunity Show in the Lobby of Miami Beach
Convention Hall South, and instead will use the dates of
October 28 through November 1, 1971, and
WHEREAS, all other terms and conditions of the
existing Agreement shall remain the same except the payments,
which read as follows :
"5g per square foot of exhibit space used
for each show day, with a minimum guarantee
of $550.00 per show day, or a total minimum
guarantee of $1, 650. 00.
$700. 00 on execution and delivery of this
instrument, receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged; $500.00 payable on or before
September 28, 1971; $450.00 payable on or
before October 28, 1971; balance by Midnight,
October 21, 1971, "
and
WHEREAS, a letter signed by the Acting Manager of
the Auditorium and Convention Hall, dated September 27, 1971,
amending the existing Agreement between National Exhibit, Inc.
and the City of Miami Beach has been mailed to and accepted
by National Exhibit, Inc.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the letter
dated September 27, 1971, signed by the Acting Manager of
the Auditorium and Convention Hall, amending the existing
Agreement between National Exhibit, Inc. and the City of
Miami Beach be and the same is hereby accepted and approved
in the name of and on behalf of said City.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 20th day of October , 1971.
