RESOLUTION NO . 131+35
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach, Florida., entered
into a Lease Agreement with the American Academy of General
Practice, and
WHEREAS, the American Academy of General Practice
has released the dates of October 4-7, 1971 in the Miami Beach
Auditorium, and instead will use the Convention Hall South for
meetings and will use the Convention Hall North for exhibits
for their Convention on said dates, and
WHEREAS, all other terms and conditions of the
exisiting Agreement shall remain the same except the rental
rate listed for the Auditorium will become applicable to the
Convention Hall South with a minimum guarantee of $2, 000.00,
and the rental rate indicated in the contract for the Convention
Hall South will become applicable to the Convention Hall North
with a minimum guarantee of $6, 000.00, and
WHEREAS, a letter signed by the Managing Director
of the Auditorium and Convention Hall, dated February 3, 1971,
amending the existing Agreement between the American Academy of
General Practice and the City of Miami Beach has been mailed to
and accepted by the American Academy of General Practice.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the letter
dated February 3, 1971, signed by the Managing Director of the
Auditorium and Convention Hall, amending the existing Agreement
between the American Academy of General Practice and the City
of Miami Beach be and the same is hereby accepted and approved
in the name of and on behalf of said City.
