13469 RESOLUTION NO. 13469
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach, Florida, entered
into a Lease Agreement with Curry and Associates, Inc. , dated
October 22, 1971 for Ike and Tina Turner Concert, and
WHEREAS, Curry and Associates has released the date
of December 5, 1971 in the Miami Beach Convention Hall and will
present Jose Feliciano in place of Ike and Tina Turner on
December 4, 1971, and
WHEREAS, all other terms and conditions of the
existing agreement shall remain the same except the payments,
which read as follows :
$1, 000. 00 of the $1, 500. 00 deposit held for
the aforesaid dates to be applied to the
December 4 Jose Feliciano concert, and in
the event the date of December 5 is rented,
the additional $500. 00 be held in escrow and
applied to any other event presented by
Curry and Associates, Inc. in the Miami Beach
Convention Hall within one year of December
5, 1971. If December 5, 1971 is not rented,
the remaining $500. 00 escrow deposit be
forfeited to the City,
and
WHEREAS, a letter signed by the Acting Manager of
the Auditorium and Convention Hall, dated November 17, 1971,
amending the existing Agreement between Curry and Associates,
Inc. and the City of Miami Beach has been mailed to and
accepted by Curry and Associates, Inc.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the letter
d ated November 17, 1971, signed by the Acting Manager of the
Auditorium and Convention Hall, amending the existing Agreement
between Curry and Associates, Inc. and the City of Miami Beach
be and the same is hereby accepted and approved in the name of
and on behalf of said City.
