13481 RESOLUTION NO. 13481
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING
RESOLUTION NO. 12225, CREATING THE MIAMI BEACH
YOUTH ECONOMIC COMMISSION.
WHEREAS , the efforts of the Miami Beach Youth Economic
Commission, directed at placing young people in gainful
employment, would be aided by an amendment to Resolution No.
12225; and,
WHEREAS, the Miami Beach Youth Economic Commission has
expressed its opinion that all youth should be prevented from
dropping out of school regardless of where those youngsters
maintain a legal residence;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH:
That Resolution No. 12225 be amended so as to delete
from the second paragraph the word "population" and to substitute
the word "community" for it, and so that the words "who are
residents of the City of Miami Beach" be deleted from section six.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 8th day of December , 1971.
