13484 RESOLUTION NO. 13484
WHEREAS, the Miami Beach Employees Benevolent
Association and the Senior Centers of Dade County, Inc. ,
have agreed upon the use of the premises owned and con-
trolled by said Benevolent Association, and
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach has authorized
the expenditure of approximately $5, 500.00 for the acquisition
and purchase of steam table and service equipment to be used
in connection with the serving of hot-mealerte -sen.ior_citizens
under the duly authorized governmental program in that regard,
and
WHEREAS, a proposed Memorandum of Understanding and
Agreement concerning the care, custody and control of said
steam table and service equipment to be used on the premises
of said Benevolent Association in conjunction with the said
"Hot Meals Program" ,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor
and the City Clerk be, and they hereby are, directed to sign
and execute said Memorandum of Understanding and Agreement,
as authorized by law.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 8th day of December, 1971.
