73-13904 RESOLUTION NO. 73-13904
WHEREAS , the City Council of the City of Miami Beach
has determined that it is necessary to remodel or construct new
public rest rooms throughout the City of Miami Beach; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to employ an architect to
study and design enlargement, remodeling and new construction
of said public rest rooms ; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach
has determined that it is in the best interests of the City of
Miami Beach and its inhabitants to employ Mr. Elmer Marmorstein,
AIA, for such purpose; and
WHEREAS, an agreement has been prepared for the employ-
ment of Mr. Elmer Marmorstein, AIA, whereby Mr. Marmorstein agrees
to perform the required study at eleven sites throughout the City
for a fee limited to $6,640.00 ; and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney has approved the agreement
as to form, and the City Manager has recommended that the City
Council enter into the same ; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach
is familiar with the provisions of said agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and the City
Clerk and Finance Director be and they are hereby authorized and
directed to execute the said agreement in the name of and on
behalf of said City, and the disbursing officers of the City are
hereby authorized and directed to disburse the monies required
by the terms of said agreement from funds of the City available
for such purpose.
