RESOLUTION NO. 73-13925
A RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION OF THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH TO THE
MIAMI BEACH POLICE ATHLETIC LEAGUE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that it does hereby take official and
formal recognition of the outstanding and immeasurable contri-
butions made by the MIAMI BEACH POLICE ATHLETIC LEAGUE toward
the perfection of the physical, mental and moral fiber of the
youth of this community and that the said City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, does hereby express for itself,
its individual members and on behalf of all the citizens and
residents of Miami Beach, its profound and enduring debt of
appreciation and gratitude to the said MIAMI BEACH POLICE
ATHLETIC LEAGUE and to its officers and members who, voluntarily
and without hope or desire for financial gain, reward, or recom-
pense of whatsoever nature, have nobly and self-sacrificially
devoted countless hours and have expended untold energy to the
task of furnishing not only physical facilities and equipment
to enable the youth of this community to participate in health-
ful competitive sports and recreational activities and who, by
both precept and moral example, have inculcated our youth with
ideals of true American citizenship and democracy and in the
exercise of which our youth, in future years, will carry on
the highest and noblest traditions of this community and this
Nation, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that this resolution be spread upon the
official records of this Council, and that appropriate authenticated
copies thereof be presented to the officers and members of said
MIAMI BEACH POLICE ATHLETIC LEAGUE.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 21st day of February, 1973 .
