73-13941 RESOLUTION NO. 73-13941
WHEREAS, the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, hereto-
fore entered into an Agreement with LEO GROSSMAN, M.D. , on
February 2, 1972 for the performance of certain professional
services, by way of consultation and coordination, in con-
nection with the City' s Program providing emergency medical
services, with physicians accompanying Fire Rescue Division
personnel, and
WHEREAS, the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, on
September 6, 1972 extended said Agreement for an additional
period ending November 30, 1973, and
WHEREAS, the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH. FLORIDA, desires
to further renew and extend said Agreement for an additional
period ending July 10, 1978, and
WHEREAS, an appropriate Extension Agreement has
been prepared so extending said Agreement, the terms of
which are the same as the original Agreement, and the Council
being familiar with the terms therein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and the
City Clerk-Finance Director be and they are hereby authorized
and directed to execute the said Extension Agreement in the
name of and on behalf of said City, and that the proper dis-
bursing and financial officers of the City make the disburse-
ments called for by said Extension Agreement from funds of the
City available for such purpose.
