A RESOLUTION OF COMMENDATION AND APPRECIATION
TO BLACKIE HUNTER FOR SERVICES RENDERED AS A
MEMBER OF THE PERSONNEL BOARD OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA.
WHEREAS , BLACKIE HUNTER has given unfailingly and
unselfishly of his time, exceptional talents and great experi-
ence in human affairs by serving on the Personnel Board of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, from August 1, 1967, to February 20,
1973, and
WHEREAS, said BLACKIE HUNTER, during his membership
on the said Personnel Board, served with immeasurable distinction
and dignity, and possessed and merited the respect, trust, and
confidence of all in the exercise of his duties and responsibili-
ties, and in the imperturbable manifestations of his fairness,
understanding and impartial admeasurement of justice to all, and
WHEREAS , the said Personnel Board, City of Miami Beach,
its residents and citizens, have been, and are the grateful and
appreciative beneficiaries of his labors and dedication to duty,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that this Council, for itself,
its individual members and for each of the citizens and residents
of the City of Miami Beach, does express its profound, enduring
and lasting appreciation to the said BLACKIE HUNTER for his utmost
dedication to the community and its citizens, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that this resolution be spread upon the
official minutes of its proceedings and that a suitably embossed
copy of this resolution be presented to the said BLACKIE HUNTER.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 7th day of MARCH 1973.
