RESOLUTION NO. 73-13947
A RESOLUTION OF COMMENDATION AND
APPRECIATION TO ALLEN A. DWORKIS .
WHEREAS , ALLEN A. DWORKIS, a most highly esteemed
citizen of this community, individually, and by and through the
Miami Beach Cultural Society, Inc. , an organization owing its
genesis and growth to the genius of the said ALLEN A. DWORKIS,
has for countless years dedicated himself with unremitting and
inspired labor and sacrifice to the encouragement, growth,
advancement and renaissance of culture and philanthropy in
the City of Miami Beach, and in. the Greater Miami Area, and
WHEREAS, as an instance of such aesthetic and artistic
contribution to this City 's welfare, through the efforts of the
said ALLEN A. DWORKIS, there was conducted on the 3rd day of
March 1973, the Fiftieth (50th) Free Concert in the City of
Miami Beach Auditorium, thus making available for the pleasure
and inspiration of the citizens and visitors of this community
the gifted performances of outstanding and exceptional national
performers ; said Fiftieth Concert marking the culmination of
ten years of similar programs made available for the cultural
enhancement of this community, and
WHEREAS, time and space do not permit the enumeration
in detail of the contributions made by the said ALLEN A. DWORKIS
to the culture and philanthropy of this community,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, for itself, its individual
members, and for the entire community of the City of Miami Beach
that this expression of most profound and sincere appreciation
and gratitude be and the same is hereby expressed to the said
ALLEN A. DWORKIS , and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that this resolution be spread in full
upon the official records of this Council and that a suitably
engrossed and embossed replica of this resolution be presented
to the said ALLEN A. DWORKIS .
PASSED and ADOPTED this 7th day of March 1973 .
