RESOLUTION NO. 73-13961
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, deems it to be necessary for the welfare of said City
and the inhabitants thereof to acquire for marina, public park,
recreational and other appropriate public purposes, the
following described parcel of land situate, lying and being
in Miami Beach, Dade County, Florida, to wit:
Lots 40 and 41, Block 111, OCEAN BEACH ADDITION
NO. 3, as recorded in Plat Book 2, at page 81,
of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that it is necessary that the
fee simple title to the above-described property be acquired for
marina, public park, recreational and other public purposes, for
the benefit of said City and its inhabitants, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the City Attorney be and he is
hereby authorized and directed to institute the necessary legal
proceedings, under the provisions of Chapter 74, Florida Statutes,
in the name of said City in the exercise of its right of eminent
domain for the condemnation of said described parcel of land for
the purposes hereinabove set forth.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 21st day of MARCH , 1973 .
