WHEREAS, LOUIS KROLL has rendered exceptional, out-
standing, and immeasurable public service in numerous capacities
to the City of Miami Beach, and its citizens and residents,
including, but not limited to, his dedicated service as Chairman
of the City of Miami Beach Youth Economic Commission and was
responsible for the revitalization of said Commission and enabled
said Commission to obtain gainful employment for a large number
of the youth of this community; that during his tenure as a member
of the City of Miami Beach Charter Review Board, said Board passed
upon issues of vital importance to the City of Miami Beach and
its government, and
WHEREAS, said LOUIS KROLL, not being content with his
leading role in local government, he also devoted his boundless
energy, industry, and genius for the betterment of the senior
citizens, not only of this community, but throughout the State
of Florida; his service in this regard having included his
Chairmanship of the State Legislative Committee, of the Congress
of Senior Citizens, and also, in his capacity as President of the
City of Miami Beach Retirees, he appeared on behalf of these
organizations g not only before State legislative committees, but
also before the State Department of Transportation and rendered
inestimable value in the procurement of legislation requiring
the payment of interest on demand security deposits, and rendered
incalculable service leading to the installation of minibusses
and reduced fares for senior citizens, and
WHEREAS, said LOUIS KROLL, with characteristic nobility
and self-sacrifice, and in response to his desire to continue the
manifestation of strong devotion to his familial obligations, is
leaving the City of Miami Beach for the City of Orlando, and
WHEREAS , his departure constitutes immeasurable loss
to the City of Miami Beach and its citizens and residents,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, for itself, its individual
members and on behalf of all its citizenry, that the said LOUIS
KROLL be and he is hereby officially commended for his distinguished
and outstanding services and contributions to this City and its
citizens and that official recognition be and the same is hereby
taken of the honor he has brought to himself and to his community
and of his contributions thereto,and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that this resolution be spread upon the
official minutes of this body and that a duly authenticated copy
of this resolution be presented to the said LOUIS KROLL.
