73-13972 RESOLUTION NO. 73-13972
WHEREAS, on November 1 , 1972, the City Council approved the leasing of
twenty-five (25) off street parking spaces in Zones 17X and 17A, Collins
Avenue and 13th Street, for a term of six months beginning November 1 , 1972,
and ending April 30, 1973, at a monthly rental of $275; with an option of a
renewal for an additional year beginning May 1 , 1973, at a monthly rental
of $212.50; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has now received notification from the
Corps of Engineers, Mobile District, of the intent of the Postal Service to
exercise its option to renew the lease for one year beginning May 1 , 1973,
and ending April 30, 1974, at .a monthly rental of $212.50; and
WHEREAS , an appropriate lease has been prepared, the terms of which
are familiar to the City Council , and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it to be in the best interest of said
City and its citizens that said renewal lease be executed and delivered.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and the City Clerk-Finance Director,
be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver said
lease.
