WHEREAS, -the City Council of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida, has been advised that
MIAMI BEACH MUSIC & ARTS LEAGUE

desires to lease the premises and facilities of the

for the purpose of
EIGHT CONCERTS

January 19 , . 1974 , February 10 , 1974, February 24 , 1974,
March 18 , 1974 , April 20 , 1974
and
WHEREAS, a lease agreement has been prepared by
the Auditorium and Convention Hall
Manager and approved
as to form by the City Attorney,

WHEREAS , the City
Council
andhas
provisionsVofethefsaid
and is familiar with the terms
lease agreement and deems it to be- for the best interest
of the City to authorize the execution of the said lease
agreement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF- MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor
and the City Clerk be, and they are hereby authorized and
directed to execute the above described lease agreement on
behalf of the City, and that the Auditorium and Convention
Hall Manager is hereby authorized and directed to carry ,
into effect the terms and provisions undertaken therein .by
the City.
