RESOLUTION NO. 73-14018
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach desires to participate
in a program authorized and approved by the Law Enforcement
Assistance Administration (LEAA) designated "Project for Illumina-
tion of High Crime Areas" and
WHEREAS, the City Manager and Chief of Police of the
City of Miami Beach have ascertained and determined that Harold
Lewis Malt Associates, Inc . , is duly qualified to perform the
services required for the implementation and execution of said
project, and
WHEREAS, a proposed agreement between the City of Miami
Beach and said Harold Lewis Malt Associates, Inc . , has been pre-
pared and providing for the compensation to be paid to the said
Harold Lewis Malt Associates, Inc . , in a total amount not to
exceed $68, 200.00, said agreement having been duly approved as
to form by the City Attorney, and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended that the City
Council authorize the execution and delivery of said agreement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and the City
Clerk-Finance Director be and they are hereby authorized and
directed to execute the said agreement in the name of and on
behalf of said City of Miami Beach, and the disbursing officers
of the City are hereby authorized and directed to disburse the
monies required by the terms of said agreement from Law Enforce-
ment Assistance Administration funds granted to the City, unless
otherwise authorized by the City Council.
