A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION
NO. 13482 ENTITLED "A RESOLUTION
OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTH-
ORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF NEGOTIABLE
COUPON BONDS IN THE AMOUNT OF
$10, 500, 000. 00 FOR THE PURPOSE
AUTHORIZED AT AN ELECTION HELD ON
NOVEMBER 2, 1971" .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that that portion of Section 1
of Resolution No. 13482, entitled :
"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA,
AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF NEG-
OTIABLE COUPON BONDS IN THE AMOUNT
OF $10, 500, 000.00 FOR THE PURPOSE
AUTHORIZED AT AN ELECTION HELD ON
NOVEMBER 2, 1971"
providing that the Bonds therein referred to shall be
issued bearing the date of February 1, 1972, with interest
payable semi-annually on the first day of August and Feb-
ruary of each year, be and the same is hereby amended so
as to provide that the said Bonds shall be issued bearing
the date of March 1, 1972, and that interest thereon shall
be payable semi-annually on the first day of March and
September of each year, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that that portion of
Section 2 of said Resolution No. 13482 setting forth the
amounts, maturity dates, and numbers of the bonds des-
cribed in said Section be and the same is amended to
provide as follows :
"SERIES 1 shall be in the principal
amount of $10, 500, 000.00 and shall
be known as "1972 Sewage Collection
and Treatment Bonds" and shall be
numbered and mature as follows :

OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that that portion
of Section 4 of said Resolution No. 13482 reading as
follows :
"KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS,
that the City of Miami Beach, in
the County of Dade, and State of
Florida, is justly indebted, and
for value received, hereby promises
to pay to the bearer, or if regis-
tered, to the registered owner
hereof, on the 1st day of February,
19 , the principal sum of
FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS
with interest thereon, at the rate
of percent per annum, payable
semi-annually, on the first day of
August, and the first day of Feb-
ruary in each year, upon the pre-
sentation and surrender of the
annexed interest coupons as they
severally become due. Both the
principal and interest of this bond
are payable in lawful money of the
United States of America, at the
office of Chemical Bank in the City
of New York. For the prompt pay-
ment hereof, both principal and
interest, as the same shall become
due, the full faith, credit and
resources of said City of Miami
Beach are irrevocably pledged. "
