SUBJECT: Evaluation Committee Relative to Request for Qualifications (RFQ) No. 2017 -126 -KB, for
General Transportation Planning and Traffic Engineering Consultant Services on an "As
Needed Basis"
The purpose of this LTC is to update the Mayor and City Commission on the status of Request for
Qualifications (RFQ) No. 2017 -126 -KB, which seeks to establish an agreement with a qualified firm(s) for
general transportation planning and traffic engineering consultant services on an "as needed basis."
The City will receive proposals pursuant to this RFQ on July 14, 2017. The responsive proposals will be
reviewed by the Evaluation Committee, in accordance with the criteria established in the RFQ.
I am considering appointing the following individuals to serve on the Evaluation Committee:
• Josiel Ferrer, Transportation Manager, Transportation Department, City of Miami Beach
• Amy L. Knowles, Deputy Resiliency Officer, City Manager's Office, City of Miami Beach
• Rogelio Madan, Chief of Community Planning & Sustainability, Planning and Zoning Department,
City of Miami Beach
• Lynda Westin, Transportation Manager, Transportation Department, City of Miami Beach
• Collin Worth, Bicycle Coordinator/Transportation Analyst, Office of Transportation Management,
City of Miami
I am also considering the following individuals as alternates:
• James Murphy, Chief of Urban Planning, Planning and Zoning Department, City of Miami Beach
• Patrice Gillespie Smith, Sr. Manager, Transportation and Land Use, Miami Downtown
Development Authority
• Flavia Tonioli , Sustainability Manager, Environment and Sustainability Department, City of Miami
Beach
