A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, COMMENDING THE MIAMI
BEACH JAYCEES AND JAYCEE WOMEN FOR THEIR PARTI-
CIPATION IN THE THANKSGIVING FOOD DRIVE.
WHEREAS, the Miami Beach Jaycees and Jaycee Women are
sponsoring a Thanksgiving Food Drive to be held November 8th through
November 23, 1982; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of this Food Drive is to collect
canned goods and frozen turkeys for distribution to needy people on
Miami Beach; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of Miami Beach wishes to
commend the Miami Beach Jaycees and Jaycee Women for their recogni-
tion of needy people living on Miami Beach during the holiday season
through their participation in the Thanksgiving Food Drive;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that it commends and whole
heartedly supports the Thanksgiving Food Drive and the Miami Beach
Jaycees and Jaycee Women for their participation in this worthwhile
activity.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 17th day of November , 1982.
