RESOLUTION NO. 83-17235
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, CALLING A PUBLIC HEAR-
ING FOR FEBRUARY 2 , 1983 , AT 2 : 30 P.M. TO
CONSIDER THE PLANNING BOARD' S RECOMMENDATION TO
AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 1891 SECTION 6-12 .B-23 TO
REINSTATE GASOLINE FILLING STATIONS AS A CONDI-
TIONAL USE IN THE C-5 GENERAL BUSINESS DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, gasoline filling stations have previously been
permitted in the C-5 General Business District; and
WHEREAS, the conditional use classification for gaso-
line filling stations in the C-5 General Business District was
inadvertently omitted from the zoning ordinance; and
WHEREAS , the Planning Board has recommended to rein-
state such use in the C-5 district.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Commission
of the City of Miami Beach, Florida that a Public Hearing be
called for February 2 , 1983 at 2 : 30 P.M. to consider the
Planning Board' s recommendation to amend Ordinance No. 1891
Section 6-12 .B-23 to reinstate gasoline stations as a con-
ditional use in the C-5 General Business District.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the City Clerk give notice
to the public by publishing a suitable advertisement in the
local press.
