A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
WAIVE GREENS FEES FOR THE GREATER MIAMI WOMEN'S
GOLF ASSOCIATION TOURNAMENTS AT NORMANDY SHORES
AND BAYSHORE GOLF COURSES,
WHEREAS, the Greater Miami Women' s Golf Association Tournament
Committee is desirous of holding a golf tournament at Normandy Shores
and Bayshore Golf Courses on June 21, 1983 and September 13, 1983,
respectively; and
WHEREAS, in conjunction with said tournaments, said Committee has
requested that the City waive greensfees for said events; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission deems it in the best interest of the
City to waive greensfees for said events:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH , FLORIDA, that the City Manager be and he is authorized to waive
greensfees for the Greater Miami Women's Golf Association Tournaments to be
held on June 21, 1983 and September 13, 1983, at Normandy Shores and Bayshore
Golf Courses.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 2nd day of February , 1983.
