A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, TO PERMIT PARAMOUNT
PICTURES CORPORATION TO FILM A PILOT FOR A
PROPOSED TELEVISION SERIES ENTITLED "FEELING THE
HEAT" IN THE OLD CITY HALL, LOCATED AT 1130
WASHINGTON AVENUE.
WHEREAS, Paramount Pictures Corporation, during the
week of March 14 , 1983 , desires to use the Old City Hall to
film a pilot for a proposed television series; and
WHEREAS, the film takes place in Miami and Key West
and is similar to the movie "Harry 0" with a story revolving
around the escapades of an Assistant State Attorney and a for-
mer policeman; and
WHEREAS, the Corporation will provide the City of
Miami Beach with appropriate proof of liability and Workers '
Compensation Insurance, will absorb all costs relating to
utilities ; will sign document acknowledging notice of possible
unsafe condition of building interior and exterior, will use
the building in its as-is condition, and will assume all risks
while using building;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the City Commission
of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, will permit Paramount Pictures
Corporation to film a pilot for a proposed television series
entitled "Feeling the Heat" in the Old City Hall.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 2nd day of March , 1983 .
