A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING A SUBCONTRACT
AGREEMENT BETWEEN FREILICH AND LEITNER, P.C. AND POST,
BUCKLEY, SCHUH AND JERNIGAN, P.C. FOR PLANNING
SERVICES REQUIRED FOR THE COMPLETION OF A REVISED
REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE SOUTH BEACH
REDEVELOPMENT AREA
WHEREAS, the City entered into an agreement with Freilich and Leitner, P.C.
on January 19, 1983, providing for the provision of legal and planning services required for
the preparation of a revised redevelopment plan for the South Beach Redevelopment
Project, and
WHEREAS, this agreement allocated fifty-thousand dollars ($50,000) for the
provision of planning subcontract services, and
WHEREAS, this agreement required written approval of subcontract agreements
by the City Commission, and
WHEREAS, Freilich and Leitner, P.C. represents that the firm of Post, Buckley,
Schuh and Jernigan, Inc. has assembled a team capable of providing all planning services
required for the preparation of a revised redevelopment plan, and
WHEREAS, the attached contract limits payment for planning services to fifty-
thousand ($50,000) and requires all services to be completed by June 15, 1983,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH APPROVES THE ATTACHED SUBCONTRACT AGREEMENT BETWEEN
FREILICH AND LEITNER, P.C. AND POST, BUCKLEY, SCHUH AND JERNIGAN, INC.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 2nd day of March , 1983.
