A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CREATION AND MAINTENANCE
OF AN IMPREST CHECKING ACCOUNT FOR THE MIAMI BEACH
BIRTHDAY JUBILEE. (PAN AMERICAN BANK OF MIAMI BEACH)
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA, that:
1. An imprest checking account in the amount of $2,000.00 (two thousand dollars)
be established at the Pan American Bank of Miami Beach.
2. That the three (3) following employees be authorized to sign the checks and
that two (2) signatures be required on each check:
A. Edward Gross
B. Patricia De Young
C. Ronald Lowy
3. That the maximum amount to be paid by such checks be $100.00 (one hundred
dollars).
4. That a full accounting be rendered by the Birthday Jubilee Committee each
time reimbursement of the checking account is requested.
5. That checks be prepared in two (2) record-keeping and auditing copies.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 2nd day of March , 1983.

SUBJECT: IMPREST CHEC, ING ACCOUNT - BIRTHDAY JUBILEE COMMITTEE
Ms. Gabrielle Nash Tessler, Chairman of the Birthday Jubilee Committee, has requested that an
imprest checking account be established to facilitate prompt payment of the smaller expenses of
the program. The checks will be signed by two of the three City staff members upon
presentation of proper documentation of the expenses. The requests for reimbursement will be
reviewed by the Internal Audit Division for compliance with City procedure. No check may
exceed$100.00 and every check must be signed by two of the following three staff members.

Ronald Lowy
This account will be established at the Pan American Bank
ADMINISTRATION RECOMMENDATION
The Administration recommends that an imprest checking account be established for the
Birthday Jubilee Committee as outlined above.
