RESOLUTION NO. 83-17301
A Resolution of the City Commission of the ,
City of Miami Beach, Florida expressing its •
appreciation to the City of Miami and Ralph
Sanchez for their support and promotion
of the Miami Grand Prix, and
WHEREAS: Grand Prix racing is the richest auto racing
event in the world, and
WHEREAS: During the Miami Grand Prix South Florida was
presented as a showcase for world class motor
racing, and
WHEREAS: South Florida was thereby presented as a
tropical vacation showcase, and
WHEREAS: The favorable world-wide publicity generated
thereby was invaluable to South Floridc
NOW, THEREFORE, be it duly resolved by the City Commission of the City
of Miami Beach, Florida that the City of Miami and Ralph Sanchez be and
the same are hereby commended for its support and promotion of the Miami
Grand Prix.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 16th day of March, 1983 .
