A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF CONTRACT
WITH EDLEN ELECTRICAL EXHIBITION SERVICES, INC.
FOR FURNISHING ELECTRICAL SERVICES IN THE SOUTH
HALL OF THE MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION CENTER ON MAY
2-8 , 1983 .
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, has been advised that
EDLEN ELECTRICAL EXHIBITION SERVICES, INC.
desires to furnish electrical services for certain premises and
facilities of the City of Miami Beach, to-wit:
SOUTH HALL OF THE MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION CENTER
during the event known as:
MERCHANTS BUYING SYNDICATE
on
May 2-8, 1983
and
WHEREAS, an appropriate agreement has been prepared by the
Miami Beach Convention Center Director and approved as to form by
the City Attorney, and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has been advised of and is
familiar with the terms and provisions of the said agreement and
deems it to be in the best interest of the City to authorize execu-
tion of the said agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the mayor and the City Clerk
be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute the above-
described agreement on behalf of the City, and that the Miami Beach
Convention Center Director be and he is hereby authorized and dir-
ected to carry into effect the terms and provisions undertaken
therein by the City.
