83-17337 RESOLUTION NO. 83-17337 A RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO INVESTIGATE THE DETAILS AND STEPS LEADING UP TO THE RECENT "BOIL WATER" PRECAUTION; MAKE FINDINGS INCLUSIVE OF METHODS BY WHICH SUCH RECOMMENDATIONS ARE EFFECTED AND ALL ACTIVITIES AND ISSUES PERTINENT THERETO, AND EXPRESSING THE CITY'S DISPLEASURE WITH THE MANNER IN WHICH THE SITUATION WAS HANDLED. WHEREAS, there was recently an incident in the City of Miami Beach whereby the water was de.lared unsafe for drinking; and WHEREAS, it was necessary t at the Citizens boil water for several days; and WHEREAS, THE City Commissio expresses displeasure in the manner in which the situation was handled; and WHEREAS, the City Commission directs the City Manager to investigate all steps and details leading up to the recent "boil water" precaution and make findings in lusive of methods by which such recommendations are effected and all activities and issues pertinent thereto; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach, Florida: That the City Commission exi•resses displeasure in the manner in which the recent emergency as handled and directs the City Manager to investigate all steps and details leading up to the recent "boil water" precaution and make findings inclusive of methods by which such recommendati.ns are effected and all activities and issues pertinent thereto PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4t day of May , 1983 .
