SUBJECT: Postponing of Belle Isle Park Playground Community Charrette # 2
The second Belle Isle Park Playground Community Charrette scheduled for Wednesday,
January 18, 2017 is being postponed to a later date. While working with the potential
playground vendors on more concrete designs to share with the community, it was discovered
that due to the restrictive spaces identified and potential underground conflicts, completing a
site survey is necessary before the vendors could submit a final proposal. The delay of this
meeting will not impact the overall project timeline as it relates to the closure of the playground
at Maurice Gibb Memorial Park.
The new date for the community charrette will be announced in the near future. Should you
