A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH EXTENDING AN INVITATION
TO THE ORANGE BOWL COMMITTEE TO HOLD THEIR
ANNUAL ORANGE BOWL MARATHON IN THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach is desirous of
bringing this annual event to the City; and
WHEREAS, this event would attract tourists to visit
Miami Beach; and
WHEREAS, the City, its residents, and tourists alike
would reap enjoyment and benefits from holding this Marathon on
Miami Beach;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COMMIS-
SION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH extend an invitation to the
Orange Bowl Committee to hold their annual Orange Bowl Marathon
in the City of Miami Beach.
