A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN JAMES
STEWART POLSHEK AND PARTNERS , A NEW YORK
GENERAL PARTNERSHIP, AND THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH FOR PROFESSIONAL ARCHITECTURAL AND
ENGINEERING SERVICES TO RECONSTRUCT, CONVERT,
REPLACE AND REFURBISH THE THEATER OF THE
PERFORMING ARTS .
WHEREAS, the City Commission has reviewed the Agreement
between JAMES STEWART POLSHEK AND PARTNERS , a New York General
Partnership, and the City of Miami Beach; and
WHEREAS the Owner , City of Miami Beach, desires to
engage a professional architect to render professional,
architectural and engineering services to reconstruct, convert,
replace and refurbish the Theater of the Performing Arts; and
WHEREAS , the City Manager has recommended execution of
the Agreement, and the Legal Department has approved it as to
form,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor
shall execute the Agreement between JAMES STEWART POLSHEK AND
PARTNERS , a New York General Partnership, and the City of Miami
Beach.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 15th day of June, 1983.
