RESOLUTION NO. 83-17406
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO NEGOTIATIONS
WITH THE STATE OF FLORIDA AND THE FEDERAL
HIGHWAY ADMINISTRATION TO OBTAIN THE JULIA
• TUTTLE INTERCHANGE SITE FOR A CITY NURSERY.
WHEREAS, the City Commission is desirious of obtaining
the Julia Tuttle Interchange site for a City nursery; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission believes that using this
site for a City nursery would not necessitate any major traffic
or operation changes and would not only benefit the City but
would also beautify this site for the residents and tourists
alike; and
WHEREAS, the City Administration recognizes that the
State of Florida and the Federal Highway Administration would
have to approve this usage concept;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, to authorize the
City Manager to enter into negotiations with the State of
Florida and the Federal Highway Administration to obtain the
Julia Tuttle Interchange site for a City nursery.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of July , 1983 .
