A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND THE CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AN
OWNER/ARCHITECT AGREEMENT BETWEEN JAMES F.
SILVERS , P.A. , A. I .A. AND ELMER MARMORSTEIN &
ASSOCIATES, A JOINT VENTURE, AND THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH FOR RENOVATION AND MODERNIZATION
OF FIRE STATIONS NO. 2 AND NO. 4.
WHEREAS , the City Commission has reviewed the Agreement
between James F. Silvers, P.A. , A. I .A. , and Elmer Marmorstein &
Associates, a Joint Venture; and
WHEREAS, the Owner , City of Miami Beach, desires to
modernize Fire Station No. 2 , located at 2300 Pinetree Drive ,
Miami Beach, and Fire Station No. 2, located at 6880 Indian Creek
Drive; and construct a maintenance facility at a location to be
determined, all as set forth in the Agreement between the Owner
and the Architect; and
WHEREAS the City Manager has recommended execution of
the Agreement and the City attorney has approved it as to form,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and
the City Clerk shall execute the Agreement between James F.
Silvers, P.A. , A. I .A. , and Elmer Marmorstein & Associates, a Joint
Venture.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 20th day of July, 1983.
