A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING IN
PRINCIPLE OF THE MANAGEMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH AND THE MIAMI BEACH
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY AND AUTHORIZING
NEGOTIATION OF SAME.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach
has determined that it is in the best interests of the South Shore
area and beneficial to the public health, safety, welfare and
enjoyment of the City of Miami Beach and its inhabitants to enter
into a management agreement with the Miami Beach Redevelopment
Agency, a public agency, for the management of municipal
facilities known as the Miami Beach Marina,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH that the aforementioned management
agreement is approved in principle and that the City Manager ' s
office shall negotiate its terms with the Miami Beach
Redevelopment Agency.
