A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH PAN-AM
VEND-TRONICS , INC. FOR INSTALLATION OF VENDING
MACHINES PURSUANT TO BID NO. 125-83 .
WHEREAS, the City Commission has reviewed the Agreement
between Pan-Am Vend-Tronics, Inc. , a Florida corporation, and the
City of Miami Beach; and
WHEREAS the City of Miami Beach, pursuant to Bid No.
125-83, desires to have installed at certain public beaches ,
municipal buildings and other City-owned properties, coin-
operated vending machines to dispense coffee, sandwiches and other
foods; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended execution of
the Lease and the Legal Department has approved it as to form,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and
City Clerk shall execute the Agreement between Pan-Am Vend-
Tronics, Inc. , a Florida corporation, for the installation,
operation and maintenance of coin-operated vending machines on
City-owned properties pursuant to Bid No. 125-83 .
PASSED and ADOPTED this 7th day of November , 1983 .

SUBJECT: CANCELLATION OF BID AW RD TO PAN-AM VEND TRONICS
BID NO. 125-83, COMMISSION MEMORANDUM NO. 511-83
Part of Bid No. 125-83 for Vending Machine Concessions was awarded
by Commission Memorandum No. 511-83 to Pan-Am Vend Tronics. By
copy of the attached correspondence, the City cancelled the proposal
by Pan-Am Vend Tronics and returned the $1,000.00 surety deposit.
The Bid Award to Pan-Am Vend Tronics is therefore cancelled.

the vending needs of the City of Miami Beach.
Our bid, in accordance with our interpretation of your invitation
to bid no. 125-83, was for the complete vending installations at
locations outlined on page 6 of our proposal. It would be quite
impossible for a vendor, in this area, to profitably operate only
hot beverages and refrigerated foods vending machines .
We therefore request you either reconsider our bid for the complete
line of vending services, as it was submitted, or reject it and
return the thousand dollar check which accompanied our offer.
