A RESOLUTION of the City Council of The City of Miami Beach,
Florida, adopting a budget for the said City for the Fiscal Year
ending October 31, 1918.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of The City of Miami Beach,
Florida, that,
Whereas the city tax assessor of said city at the last regular
meeting of said city council notified this body that the amount
of the sum total of taxable property in the said City of Miami
Beach, Dade County, Florida, for the tax year 1918 was
<= 83 .00 . Therefore in conformity with Section 43
of the City Charter of said City, the said City Council having
ascertained the amount of money needed for each department makes
the following estimate to be raised by taxes on all of the taxable
property in the said city for the tax year A.D. 1918, namely:
BUDGET FOR GENERAL FUND EXPENSES.
Salary of Clerk and Collector .. $ 1,800.00
Salary of Marshal and Assessor 1,500.00
Salary of Municipal Judge 480.00
Salary of City Engineer 1,500.00
Rental of City Hall 300.00
Incidentals 6,911.18
