AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING ORDINANCE
NO. 11-97, BEING AN ORDINANCE OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, CLASSI-
FYING, REGULATING AND/OR PROHIBITING
CERTAIN NOISES IN SAID CITY AND
FIXING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION THERE.
OF; AND PROVIDING FOR THE REGULATION
AND PROHIBITION OF CERTAIN ADDITIONAL
NOISES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Section 2 of Ordinance No. 497 of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, be amended by adding thereto
the following subsection:
"12: Bottling works, dairies, factories , machine
shops and other similar industries or enter-
prises, the noise from which disrupts the
peace and quiet of the neighborhood, shall
not operate between the hours of 12:00 o'clock
midnight and 7:00 o' clock A. M. following,
unless such place of business is completely
enclosed and the doors and other openings
kept closed in order that the noise therefrom
may not disrupt the peace and quiet of the
neighborhood.
SECTION 2: All ordinances and. parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.

ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, CLASSIFYING,
REGULATING AND/OR PROHIBITING CERTAIN NOISES IN SAID CITY
AND FIXING PENALTI :S FOR VIOLATION THEREOF; AND PROVIDING
FOR THE REGULATION AND PROHIBITION OF CERTAIN ADDITIONAL
NOISES", having been passed and adopted by the City Council
of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, has been posted by me
in three conspicuous places in the City of Miami Beach, one
of which was at the door of the City Hall in said City on
the lath day of May, A. D. , 1939, and that said ordinance re-
mained posted for a period of at least thirty days in accord-
ance with the requirements of the City Charter of the said
City of Miami Beach.

and affixed the official seal of the City of Miami Beach, Florida,
on this the 19th day of June, A. D. , 1939.
