Ordinance 553 ORDINANCE NO. 553 AN ORDINANCE NAMING THE ALLEY WEST OF ALTON ROAD , BEGINNING WITH THE DEAD END AT THE NORTH LINE OF LOTS 1 AND 29 , BLOCK 3, FLEETWOOD SUBDI. VISION, AND EXTENDING TO THE SOUTH LINE OF COLLINS CANAL, SAID ALLEY TO BE KNOWN AS "ALTON COURT". BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. That that certain alley shown and designated on Amended Plat ofFleetwood Subdivision, recorded in Plat Book 28 , at Page 34, on the Plat of Third Commercial Subdivision, recorded in Plat Book 7, at Page 160 , on Plat of Bay View Subdivision, recorded in Plat Book 9 , at Page 110, on Plat of Commercial Subdivision recorded in Plat Book 6, at Page 5, on Plat of First Addition to Commercial Subdivision, recorded in Plat Book 6 , at Page 30, and on Plat of the Subdi- vision of the West Half of Blocks 17 , 40 and 45, recorded in Plat Book 6, at Page 165, all of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida, lying west of Alton Road and extending from the dead end at the north line of Lots 1 and 29 , Block 3, said Amended Plat of Fleetwood Subdivision , to the south line of Collins Canal, be and the same is hereby named, and shall here. after be known as "Alton Court. " SECTION 2. That all persons , firms or corporations , owing property or residing upon the foregoing alley as renamed or designated herein, are hereby required to observe the provisions of this ordinance in de signat&ng or numbering residences or posting signs or markers which may designate the foregoing Court, SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in con. flict herewith are hereby repealed. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of May, A. D. 1939. D. , 1939, and that said ordinance remained posted for a period of at least thirty days in accordance with the requirements of the City Charter of the said City of Miami Beach.
