AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH
CHANGING THE NAME OF PURDY COURT TO
LINCOLN COURT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That that certain highway shown and designated as
"Purdy Court" , running in a northerly and southerly
direction through Block 42, Belleview Subdivision, from Lincoln
Road to Collins Canal, on Plats recorded in Plat Book 6, Page 114,
and Plat Book 30, Page 76, of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida, be and the same is hereby changed in name and shall here-
after be known as "Lincoln Court".
SECTION 2. All persons, firms or corporations owning property or
residing upon the foregoing Court as renamed or desig-
nated herein are hereby required to observe the provisions of this
Ordinance in designating or numbering residences or posting signs
or markers which may designate the foregoing street.
SECTION 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with are hereby repealed.

I, C. W. TOMLINSON, City Clerk in and for
the City of Miami Beach, Florida, do hereby certify that
Ordinance No. 576 entitled "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH CHANGING THE NAME OF PURDY COURT TO LINCOLN
COURT", having been passed and adopted by the City Council
of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, has been posted by me
in three conspicuous places in the City of Miami Beach, one
of which was at the door of the City Hall in said City on
the 2nd day of May, A. D., 1940, and that said Ordinance
remained posted for a period of at least thirty days in
accordance with the requirements of the City Charter of the
said City of Miami Beach.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto set my
hand and affixed the official seal of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida, on this the 19th day of July, A. D. , 1940.
