ORDINANCE NO, 578
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING ORDINANCE
NO, 485 OF SAID CITY ESTABLISHING
A SCHEDULE OF SALARIES TO BE PAID TO
EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA, AND FIXING THE RATE THEREOF,
CHANGING THE SALARY OF THE CITY AT-
TORNEY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
Section 1: That Ordinance No. 485, being an ordinance of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, establishing a schedule
of salaries to be paid to employees of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, and fixing the rate thereof, be and the
same is hereby amended by changing the rate of salary for the
City Attorney, under Item "C" , Section 1, as follows:
"C. City Attorney - Maximum Salary per Month $500.00
Office Help-City
Attorney' s office " " " " 125.00"
Section 2: All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3: The salary rate changed by this Ordinance shall be-
come effective as of May 1st , 1940.

the City of Miami Beach, Florida, do hereby certify that
Ordinance No. 578 entitled "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 4g5, OF SAID CITY
ESTABLISHING A SCHEDULE OF SALARIES TO BE PAID TO EMPLOYEES
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AND FIXING THE RATE
THEREOF, CHANGING THE SALARY OF THE CITY ATTORNEY", having
been passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, has been posted by me in three con-
spicuous places in the City of Miami Beach, one of which was
at the door of the City Hall in said City on the 6th day of
June, A. D. , 1940, and that said Ordinance remained posted
for a period of at least thirty days in accordance with the
requirements of the City Charter of the said City of Miami
Beach.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto set my
hand and affixed the official seal of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, on this the 19th day of July, A. D., 1940.
