AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SUB-SECTIOI
(g) OF SECTION 4 OF ORDINANCE NO.
358 OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA: ,>
BE IT ORDAIN-'LD BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. That Sub-Section (g) of Section 4 of Ordinance
No. 358 of the City of Miami Beach, Florida,
he and the same is hereby amended so as to read as follows:
"(g) Pass a written examination by a
rating of seventy-five percent
on the questions provided in each
of the subjects named and who
shall have satisfied the members
of said Board of Massage Examiners
by such practical demonstration as
may be required of his or her
fitness to practice as a Massage
Operator. A license or certificate
shall then be issued under the
seal of the Board, countersigned by
members of the Board. In the event
of failure on examination, said
applicant shall be entitled to a
refund of Eight ( ¢8.00) Dollars
from the fee paid upon filing appli-
cation as hereinbefore provided,
the balance of said fee to be
retained by the City to cover the
expense of conducting said Examination,
provided, however, that said
applicant may at his or her election,
leave all of said application fee
with the City and shall thereafter
be entitled to take a new Examination
at the next regular or called meeting
of the Board, without the payment of
an additional fee. "
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall go into effect
immediately upon Its becoming a law.

Ordinance No. 609 entitled, "AN ORDINAAE AMENDING SU'B-SECTION
(g) OF SECTION 4 OF ORDINANCE NO. 358 OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA" , having been passed and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, has been posted
by me in three conspicuous places in the City of Miami Beach,
one of which was at the door of the City Hall in said City on
the 16th day of October, A. D. , 1941, and that said Ordinance
remained posted for a period of at least thirty days in accord-
ance with the requirements of the City Charter of the said. City
of Miami Beach.
