ORDINANCE NO. 617
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA, AMENDING SECTION 3 OF ORDINANCE
NO. 391 OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA,
SO AS TO PROVIDE A PERIOD OF TIME WITHIN
WHICH LICENSES ISSUED UNDER SAID ORDINANCE
NO. 391 MAY BE CANCELLED AND THE MONEY PAID
THEREFOR REFUNDED, AND MAKING OTHER PROVISIONS
PERTINENT THERETO:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Section 3 of Ordinance No. 391 of the City
of Miami Beach, Florida, be and the same is
hereby amended by adding thereto, at the end thereof, the
following:
"Provided, further, that if the holder of a
license hereunder shall, within sixty (60)
days of the beginning of the license year
provided for herein, namely October 1st,
make a bona fide sale of the business for
which and to which the said license was
issued, and the vendee in such sale shall
apply for and receive and pay for a similar
license for the identical location, the vendor
in said sale may make application for the
voidance of such license so issued to him and
the sum of money paid by the vendor for euch
license shall forthwith be refunded to him. "
SECTION 2: All ordinances and parts of ordinances of the
City of Miami Beach in conflict with the
provisions of this Ordinance shall be and the same are
hereby repealed.

Ordinance No. 617 entitled, "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING SECTION 3 OF ORDINANCE NO.
391 OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, SO AS TO PROVIDE
A PERIOD OF TIME WITHIN WHICH LICENSES ISSUED UNDER SAID
ORDINANCE NO. 391 MAY BE CANCELLED AND THE MONEY PAID
THEREFOR REFUNDED, AND MAKING OTHER PROVISIONS PERTINENT
THERETO" , having been passed and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, has been
posted by me in three conspicuous places in the City of
Miami Beach, one of which was at the door of the City Hall
in said City on the 25th day of November, A. D. , 1941, and
that said Ordinance remained posted for a period of at
least thirty days in accordance with the requirements of
the City Charter of the said City of Miami Beach.

my hand and affixed the official seal of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, on this the 3rd day of January, A. D. ,
1942.
