A RESOLUTION OF TNF CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, FIXING A LESSOR PER-
IOD OF TIME THAN TEN YEARS IN WHICH THE OWNER
OF ANY LOT IN SAID CITY WHICH SHALL HAVE BEEN
ASSESSED IN EXCESS OF TWENTY-FIVE DOLLARS MAY
PAY THE SUM IN EQUAL ANNUAL INSTALLMENTS

WHEREAS The City Charter of the City of Miami FjEQ_cfz
permits the owner of any lot or parcel of land in said
City which shall have been assessed in excess of Twenty-
five Dollars, to pay the same in equal annual installments
in each of the ten succeeding years, provided he files a
written undertaking, waiving all irregularities and il-
legalities in question with said assessment and agreeing
to pay the same.
NOW BE IT RESOLVED That thirty days after the
confirmation of the assessment role, assessing any lot or
parcel of land in said City for improvements for which
special assessments are allowed under the City Charter of
said City, shall be due and payable at the office of the
City Clerk, except as to any property including railroads
whose owners shall have filed a petition in the Uircuit
Court , as is provided in said City Charter; provided, how-
ever, that the owner of any lot or parcel which shall have
been assessed in excess of Twenty-five Dollars may, before
the expiration of said thirty days after said confirmation,
file with the City Clerk his written undertaking, waiving
all irregularities and illegalities in connection with the
said assessment against said lot or parcel and agreeing to
pay the same in equal annual installments in each of the
years succeeding, at a specified date in said years
at which the General City Taxes are due and payable, with
interest upon said deferred installments at the rate of 6%
per annum from the date of confirmation.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That nothing herein
contained, except as to lessening the period of time of
the payment of such annual installments, shall be in con-
flict with the City Charter.
